17th Century Remnant
Here is something I've discovered today. It is a very old synagogue.
The sign says it was built between 1670 and 1671 and that it was the first synagogue in Romania. As you can see, it is now being restored.
It is located in one of the old neighborhoods of the city, close to the center.

Vacation
Obviously, this is not a picture of Iasi. I took it in Portoroz, a town on the Slovenian coast, where I spent my recent vacation. I will be sharing more of my experience there in a new blog. I really think it is something woth blogging about.
I'll also resume posting pictures and information about Iasi soon enough. Thank you all for your visits and your comments!
